Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Radoslaw Oleszak was a little too slow when Monty Rogers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Seco in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Diguinho Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Bestia Negra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diguinho Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob May to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Diguinho Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diguinho Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, La Bestia Negra's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Radoslaw Oleszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes La Bestia Negra got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Vasconcelos. Radoslaw Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 72nd minute of play.
