Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. When Su Yao Ting came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Doffes Damer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Su Yao Ting couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Abram Secada fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gabriel Fanström, passed just outside the right post. After 90 minutes, Inge Braa made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kevin Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Gabriel Fanström made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Greg Barrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Greg Barrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Doffes Damer.
