When Bartolome Moracia came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Caaguazu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolome Moracia couldn't finish the play. Matthew Garrido charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthew Garrido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolome Moracia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Caaguazu got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bartolome Moracia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bartolome Moracia made a great header on Caaguazu's corner, it was just that Panama's Marcos Cotilla managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 15th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Bartolome Moracia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla. Bartolome Moracia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Olo Uriarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolome Moracia during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bartolome Moracia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olo Uriarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 34th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Olo Uriarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 39th minute of play. Bartolome Moracia got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bartolome Moracia hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Torcida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Miliano Roza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. Caaguazu made a substitution. Miro Olivos replaced Baldomero Vellon. After 59 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Torcida in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Malvin Vidaurre who took care of the corner kick. Olo Uriarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 65th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Nando Cando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Alguacil, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 76th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olo Uriarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Miliano Roza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olo Uriarte having to interfere. In the 88th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Caaguazu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte managed to reach the ball for a save. When %teams%'s Miguel Miralles was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-3 just inside the left pole, 89 minutes into the game. Olo Uriarte was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 92ndth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte. Olo Uriarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caaguazu.
