Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 徐光朋 in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 10th minute. 徐光朋 struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Балтика -95 Калининград. After a defensive mix-up in Балтика -95 Калининград's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kir Kachalov came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Pavel Denisov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, 徐光朋 fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. If Pavel Denisov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 26 minutes into the match, Pavel Denisov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. Marat Chernodarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Pavel Denisov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pavel Denisov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Балтика -95 Калининград getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. 徐光朋 hit a great ball. Kir Kachalov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pavel Denisov came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Балтика -95 Калининград's goalie prevented a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladimir Karyaka made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marat Chernodarov however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, 徐光朋 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Балтика -95 Калининград's supporters rose to their feet, but 徐光朋 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pavel Denisov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kir Kachalov was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute of play forced Балтика -95 Калининград's goalkeeper Kir Kachalov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 73rd minute when 徐光朋 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Maksim Proskurin went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Anatoliy Arhipov to score against Jonathan Ferrant in Venezuela's goal. 3-1 after 81 minutes. After 85 played minutes Балтика -95 Калининград got a freekick which was hit by Anatoliy Arhipov. Vladimir Karyaka kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, 徐光朋 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and 徐光朋 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kir Kachalov having to interfere. Балтика -95 Калининград's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
