Äjdärxan Cümşüdov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Mübariz Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Äjdärxan Cümşüdov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Mübariz Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gündüz Haqverdiyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Äjdärxan Cümşüdov quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbasäli Ağamämmädov in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute Ağasif Äkbärov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mübariz Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
