Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Leon Kosmatka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Marco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. INTER FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emerson Cruz in the 13th minute. After taking down the ball on INTER FC's corner Marcelo Valverde fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. Marco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. When INTER FC's Marco Seco in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Cruz in the 26th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes of play, INTER FC's Emerson Cruz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Marco Seco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 3-0. 35 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Seco came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Emerson Cruz sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Seco's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Cruz in the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emerson Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the INTER FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of INTER FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Cruz came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute INTER FC were awarded a corner. Emerson Cruz went to the cornerflag to take it. INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares was substituted for Marco Seco. INTER FC made a substitution. Mandi Oca replaced Emerson Cruz. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mandi Oca in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Hortêncio Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by INTER FC's Mandi Oca. In the 79th minute of the match INTER FC got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Léo Trigo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 81 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Alves. Hortêncio Linhares scored 7-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hortêncio Linhares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Hortêncio Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mandi Oca in the 91st minute of the match. Bruno Alves hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. INTER FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
