Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Godofredo Marin made the kick off which started today's match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Marin in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Paulus Van Poucke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulus Van Poucke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Facundo Altamirano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of the match. Maravilla's Roberto Mouzo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Chicote, made in the 27th minute of the game. Venezuela's attentive Jose Correa managed to snatch the ball when Godofredo Marin made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. In the 34th minute Cruz Credo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Cruz Credo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maravilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cruz Credo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cruz Credo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the game, Cruz Credo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Cruz Credo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Cruz Credo made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 57th minute of the game Alex Chicote made a throw-in which Patricio Costa played forward. Venezuela's Alex Chicote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vasco Gentil in the 58 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Maravilla's Cruz Credo. But to his dismay, Cruz Credo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 67 minutes, Cruz Credo made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alex Chicote made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Maravilla's Primitivo Txanton. Cruz Credo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Maravilla's Roberto Mouzo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 79 minute of the game. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Mouzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Cruz Credo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Cruz Credo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cruz Credo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Maravilla walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
