Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 10 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adolph Mcinnes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichol Pinhey in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Milan's Nichol Pinhey got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolph Mcinnes having to interfere. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolph Mcinnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Dacosta Johnson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 41st minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. Jose Carita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dacosta Johnson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 46th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichol Pinhey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dacosta Johnson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bock Fortington in the 58th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 59th minute of play forced Milan's goalkeeper Adolph Mcinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bock Fortington charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bock Fortington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bock Fortington to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes Milan got a freekick which was hit by Bock Fortington. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adolph Mcinnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Milan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Alex Cambeiro got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-2. 71 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Adolph Mcinnes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Miralles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Adolph Mcinnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Long Trenoweth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Bock Fortington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hank Malacarne in the 87th minute of play. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolph Mcinnes having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Milan.
