Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Szombathely Squirrels's zone, Abram Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnold Szuper came out of the goal and Abram Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper. Arnold Szuper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lei Jian Xiong struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szombathely Squirrels. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnold Szuper. Szombathely Squirrels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Tivadar Demeter sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 43rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Tivadar Demeter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michel Goiano charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Goiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Goiano to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When Michel Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Szombathely Squirrels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Goiano couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tivadar Demeter's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Arnold Szuper made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Abram Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Samuel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Szombathely Squirrels's Bence Asbóth was substituted for Tamás Szentesi. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Amanda Almqvist, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tivadar Demeter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Tivadar Demeter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bai Jun Chong was slow to take the kick. During this time Szombathely Squirrels's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Tivadar Demeter managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 79th minute Szombathely Squirrels were awarded a corner. Bai Jun Chong went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tivadar Demeter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. With a little luck, Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper got control of the ball when Ignacio Mastache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bence Asbóth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes Szombathely Squirrels's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kevin Mastache who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tivadar Demeter in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Ignacio Mastache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnold Szuper. Szombathely Squirrels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Mastache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Szombathely Squirrels had played much better football throughout.
