Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ağasif Äkbärov sent off a good shot on target. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Äjdärxan Cümşüdov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ağasif Äkbärov in the 14th minute of play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Äjdärxan Cümşüdov having to make a save. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şakir Adişirinov in the 23rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Mübariz Team's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Äjdärxan Cümşüdov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute Şakir Adişirinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ağasif Äkbärov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ağasif Äkbärov got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şakir Adişirinov was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute of the match Gündüz Haqverdiyev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gündüz Haqverdiyev hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Gündüz Haqverdiyev kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Mübariz Team's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Äjdärxan Cümşüdov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbasäli Ağamämmädov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Abbasäli Ağamämmädov came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mübariz Team booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cahangir Aliyev in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mübariz Team players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
