Ramang Hermansyah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ramang Hermansyah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramang Hermansyah came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Tirtana in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Chayo Gabas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Agurto, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ramang Hermansyah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of the match. Cai Zhi Qi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 67 minutes into the match. Dapotan Eagles Fc made a substitution. Syamsir Tanzil replaced Adeng Manurung. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Agurto in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Apolo Agurto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
