Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play forced Scofield's goalkeeper Alvaro Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, Scofield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto-Carlos Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Alvaro Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Joaquin Prats was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Alvaro Valente had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Luz Tejedor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alvaro Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Valente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Baumar in the 33rd minute of play. Alvaro Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonso Berganza made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Moises Gayoso. Alvaro Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Aaron Bemabe threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Peru's Julian Murillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Feliciano Baumar made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Baumar in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th of the match, Julian Murillo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Alvaro Valente got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 66th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alvaro Valente saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alvaro Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute of play. In the 80th minute, Roberto-Carlos Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Scofield made a substitution. Cayetano Urdin replaced Feliciano Baumar. After having played for 89 minutes, Cayetano Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scofield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Urdin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes of play, Scofield's Cayetano Urdin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Aaron Bemabe with Roberto-Carlos Brasil as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Urdin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 97th minute Scofield were awarded a corner. Alto Roca went to the cornerflag to take it. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
