Felix Dorval's late challenge caught a Locomotora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Liberto came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Edgard Dimo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Locomotora fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Edgard Dimo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Noel Seide made a huge save. A hard shot 40 in the game by Edgard Dimo from a close distance when the talented Noel Seide managed to make a qualified save. Haiti's players were relieved. Noel Seide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicanor Eutropio in the 42nd minute. Eulalio Vedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match, Mario Tonete tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Noel Seide saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

But to his dismay, Mario Tonete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Saint Jean Pierre hit a great ball. After 72 minutes of play, Locomotora's Mario Tonete made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Alphonse during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Alphonse kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Mario Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Eutropio charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Eutropio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Haiti booed when Locomotora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Eutropio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Dimo in the 96th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Locomotora's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
