Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Peru's Julian Murillo in the 65th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Çakır Alyakut was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for 1930 Bafraspor through an amazing save. In the 67th minute Martin Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match, Luz Tejedor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Çakır Alyakut saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
