Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling CJ Street in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Street came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jude Bonham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Den Newland's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, Barr Point's Jude Bonham got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Terry Steele during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
