Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. After 8 played minutes Lüleburgazspor got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Căplescu. In the 9th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayyar Sanih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Lüleburgazspor's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Tayyar Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lüleburgazspor's Aşık Aytuğ got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tayyar Sanih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tayyar Sanih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of the match. Tayyar Sanih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 37th minute of play. Tayyar Sanih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tayyar Sanih in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lüleburgazspor were furious when Bektaş Altıparmak was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 46th minute, Bektaş Altıparmak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enes Hezarfen made a kick off. Tayyar Sanih made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Facundo Cadaval struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Tayyar Sanih didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enes Hezarfen, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Facundo Cadaval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Tayyar Sanih made a huge save. Tayyar Sanih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Aşık Aytuğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Aşık Aytuğ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tayyar Sanih firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Lüleburgazspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Lüleburgazspor's Tayyar Sanih proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Lüleburgazspor from getting a goal against them.
