Klaus Rinzema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter van Aalderen's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter van Aalderen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Holtland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Klaus Rinzema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Klaus Rinzema was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
