An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Stenberg in the 8th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Hubert Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Stenberg in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Morgan Björkdahl threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Peru's Julian Murillo managed to work through Rönnöfors FF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Julian Murillo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Hubert Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Henry Fagerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rönnöfors FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Hubert Fagrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Stenberg in the 37th minute of play. Hubert Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Fagerberg to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Fagrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Morgan Björkdahl made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Fagrell. Hubert Fagrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Stenberg made a kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Hubert Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Rönnöfors FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliseo Mina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a defensive mix-up in Rönnöfors FF's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Fagrell came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Morgan Björkdahl in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Hubert Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rönnöfors FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Hubert Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hubert Fagrell saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. Peru were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Rönnöfors FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 83rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hubert Fagrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Stenberg in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Tunström to maneuver through the defense. Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 94th minute of play. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
