In the 6th minute, Örjan Björkdahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Örjan Björkdahl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. John Osomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Abram Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Osomo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Axel Montenegro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Björkdahl in the 30th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Rodrigues in the 32nd minute of play. John Osomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 36th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Örjan Björkdahl took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Örjan Björkdahl to strike the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Pascual Carballar suffered a sore thigh after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 53 minutes into the game, 陆亦明 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Pascual Carballar. In the 54th match minute, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 陆亦明 to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Mastache hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Örjan Björkdahl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Rodrigues in the 74th minute of the match. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ made a substitution. Alexandre Falcão replaced Ture Rosendahl. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's 陆亦明 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 78th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Björkdahl came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgard Dubardo who took care of the corner kick. In the 83rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Osomo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Örjan Björkdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Örjan Björkdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Björkdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's 陆亦明. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Örjan Björkdahl. But to his dismay, Örjan Björkdahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
