Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bartolo Basualdo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Basualdo in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonso Berganza made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Emesto Bodes. Moises Gayoso made in the 10th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luz Tejedor however managed to control. Hermann Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 20th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Basualdo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bartolo Basualdo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Basualdo couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Eliseo Mina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermann Hesse was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Popolizio FBC from getting a goal against them. Milagros Fraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermann Hesse having to make a save. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Torbjørn Trondsen was substituted for Nils Gielis. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erruki Velarroa was substituted for Bartolo Basualdo. Niklas Hägglund kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 70th minute of play. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hermann Hesse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjørn Trondsen in the 72nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru played a much better game than Deportivo Popolizio FBC and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
