Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Washington Demartis went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Washington Demartis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Washington Demartis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Washington Demartis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Barros in the 29th minute of play. Washington Demartiss short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Camilo Gaos lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Válter Dante:s penalty. In the 40th minute João Vítor Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, Countdown FC's Washington Demartis made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Vítor Barros was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Countdown FC's Eliézer Almeida got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Barros in the 77th minute of the match. Washington Demartis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Washington Demartis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Countdown FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Adriano Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes Countdown FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Almeida. Alfredão Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
