A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Marcelino Gombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Panama fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Panama's Miguel Miralles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ☆Magno☆'s Marcelino Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 14th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Lucas Erauso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Marcelino Gombal in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Erauso in the 33rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes, Alex Cambeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the ☆Magno☆ players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, ☆Magno☆'s Marcelino Gombal got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Panama got a corner. ☆Magno☆'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcelino Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in ☆Magno☆'s zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Gombal came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 played minutes ☆Magno☆ got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Montay. Marcelino Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Lucas Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Txatxu got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Gombal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Panama's Tomas Berganza got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 72nd minute of the match, Filiberto Txatxu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Cotilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 77th play minutes Abraham Alguacil shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Marcelino Gombal and just under the crossbar into goal. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
