Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruperto Lucila kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. After a rather tough play, PerroMuerto's Nicolás Kaiser got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Batty came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of PerroMuerto booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mezie Pechini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Astor Herrera put in a rough tackle. PerroMuerto:s Bonifacio Enetz showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Batty in the 34th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play forced PerroMuerto's goalkeeper Bonifacio Enetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Enetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in PerroMuerto's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Enetz came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roy Batty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Bonifacio Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mezie Pechini to strike the kick off in the second half. When PerroMuerto's Roy Batty in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Bonifacio Enetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes in the game Mateo Lano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Blas Cebrian. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PerroMuerto the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PerroMuerto's Cirilo Joey was substituted for Darin Sands. In the 81st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Enetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Enetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 83rd minute of the match. PerroMuerto's Mezie Pechini got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
