Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. Elvio Pacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 4th minute of play. Elvio Pacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Cha Fe FC's Jimeno Atarrabi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Elvio Pacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Casaus. 19 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Elvio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Geofredo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Augusto Jurdan with Rogelio Ibon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Elvio Pacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After the first half Chile were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Phelipe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elvio Pacho made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Pacho having to make a save. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimeno Atarrabi's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Elvio Pacho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Pacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Elvio Pacho made a huge save. After 76 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. Cha Fe FC's Eduardo Mede was substituted for Augusto Jurdan. Cha Fe FC made a substitution. Basilio Jusepe replaced Jimeno Atarrabi. In the 77th minute, Alan Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Jusepe struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cha Fe FC. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Phelipe in the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cha Fe FC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Pacho. The Cha Fe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Pacho should have stopped the shot. Chile's Pedro Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fidel Geofredo, made in the 85th minute of the game. Elvio Pacho made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 89th minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Phelipe in the 90th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Mariano Lacasa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elvio Pacho, passed just outside the right post. Elvio Pacho came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
