Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Well-Well Waack kicked off to start the match. William Angelsø hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 10th minute of play. Manuel Alves came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Well-Well Waack to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes, Well-Well Waack mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Izaltina FAD and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Well-Well Waack hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Manuel Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izaltina FAD's Matías Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Sugar kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías Mendes in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Matías Mendes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-1. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Izaltina FAD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manuel Alves quite easily take care of the ball. Well-Well Waack might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Well-Well Waack ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute Well-Well Waack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Well-Well Waack made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Matías Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Alves. That made the score 2-2 after 61 minutes of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Alves having to interfere. Izaltina FAD's Silvio Honesto was substituted for Leandro Sugar. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 70th minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Manuel Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, William Angelsø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and William Angelsø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Ecuador played a much better game than Izaltina FAD and deserved their victory. The Izaltina FAD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
