Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Van de Loock in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Felix Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sköll F.C.'s goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sköll F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Van de Loock in the 8th minute of play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match, Dino Rea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 11th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominic Van de Loocks short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Sköll F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ademar da Costa hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sköll F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwan Zjawin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Sköll F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Ahlqvist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Van de Loock in the 33rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Dominic Van de Loock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sköll F.C.'s zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Zjawin came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominic Van de Loock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sköll F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Iwan Zjawin in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anders Ahlqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Sköll F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dino Rea in the 57th minute. The corner led Sköll F.C.'s Dino Rea to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th minute Sköll F.C. were awarded a corner. Dino Rea went to the cornerflag to take it. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Van Deyck in the 62nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Dominic Van de Loock notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicente Rujula's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Rujula helped the player get up and apologised. Vicente Rujula hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Sköll F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Ahlqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sköll F.C.'s Iwan Zjawin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 78th minute of play. Dominic Van de Loock took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that Noel Van Deyck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Efthimis Sardinis notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes, Sköll F.C.'s Dino Rea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sköll F.C. reached it. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Ahlqvist in the 93rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iwan Zjawin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Sköll F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
