In the 3rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignatius Tilmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willi Wolters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Willi Wolters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Högger in the 39th minute of the match. Willi Wolters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willi Wolters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lutz Holtzmann to make the kick off. THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lutz Holtzmann in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to THB Herrenalb getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Florian Scheider hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes THB Herrenalb got a freekick which was hit by Florian Scheider. Lutz Holtzmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute, Lutz Holtzmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THB Herrenalb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 86 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Willi Wolters, 2-1. Tomas Illescas in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Willi Wolters, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. THB Herrenalb's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
