Bivitas Duggan hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Fryderyk Lepper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 4th minute of play. Scott Colwell hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 5th minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Fryderyk Lepper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Aengus Duggan sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aengus Duggan. Fryderyk Lepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 27th minute of the match. Coileán McAlphie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcos Cotilla firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rian Dalton in the 30th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aengus Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Brenden Ramsey seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Brenden Ramsey the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zawisza Bydgoszcz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Brenden Ramsey had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 34 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Brenden Ramsey. Scott Colwell hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Miguel Miralles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 47th minute. The long shot by Healey McLian in the 48th minute really tested Marcos Cotilla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After the first half Panama were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Miralles in the 53rd minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Fryderyk Lepper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aengus Duggan in the 54th minute of the match. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Lepper having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Scott Colwell. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aengus Duggan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aengus Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Fryderyk Lepper skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 72nd minute, Rian Dalton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Aengus Duggan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott Colwell in the 78th minute of play. Fryderyk Lepper was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Tomas Berganza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Berganza really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After 86 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Rian Dalton. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevinn Mulvihill during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Kevinn Mulvihill hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Aengus Duggan. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Fryderyk Lepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Panama were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Zawisza Bydgoszcz side.
