Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigor Barroso in the 5th minute of play. Miks Lecis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cometuétano's Miks Lecis did a great save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigor Barroso in the 8th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Cometuétano got a freekick which was hit by Alcadio Abajas. In the 11th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miks Lecis came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Miks Lecis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Antoni Paris hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Miks Lecis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miks Lecis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Miks Lecis. Cometuétano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 40th minute Zigor Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miks Lecis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of the match.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Paris in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miks Lecis saved Cometuétano from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigor Barroso in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miks Lecis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Miks Lecis in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes Cometuétano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Miks Lecis made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Miks Lecis in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miks Lecis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Argenis Coira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Aliecer Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cometuétano's Miks Lecis got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miks Lecis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigor Barroso in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cometuétano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Vestnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot from long distance in the 87th minute was not bad at all, but Cometuétano's Miks Lecis knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Cometuétano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miks Lecis quite easily take care of the ball. Miks Lecis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
