Miks Lecis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of the match. Antoni Paris placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigor Barroso in the 6th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Miks Lecis. Cometuétano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 12th minute of play forced Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play forced Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cometuétano's Miks Lecis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argenis Coira in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antoni Paris was slow to take the kick. During this time Cometuétano's players had a chance to rest. Cometuétano's Miks Lecis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Zigor Barroso in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miks Lecis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Alcadio Abajas's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alcadio Abajas helped the player get up and apologised. Alcadio Abajas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Miks Lecis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoni Paris, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Aliecer Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cometuétano's Filip Vestnes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miks Lecis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cometuétano's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miks Lecis came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. During the 90th minute of the match Alcadio Abajas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alcadio Abajas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alcadio Abajas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
