Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zigor Barroso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leroy Vera in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miks Lecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miks Lecis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zigor Barroso's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Argenis Coira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cometuétano booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Guillermo Mariano fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. It was a well-played corner which Salvador Gisbert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. When Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Paris in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute Cometuétano were awarded a corner. Antoni Paris went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miks Lecis was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Miks Lecis in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Miks Lecis made a huge save. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argenis Coira in the 74th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Antoni Paris got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Cometuétano's Leroy Vera. But to his dismay, Leroy Vera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Leroy Vera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Xuan Solera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas.
