Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Delgado having to interfere. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Asturcones d´la Abadía's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Asturcones d´la Abadía booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xurxo Lagunas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Xurxo Lagunas came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Xurxo Lagunas came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xurxo Lagunas in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Veremundo Lastras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urbano Arnalt charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbano Arnalt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Urbano Arnalt hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Asturcones d´la Abadía's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ermegildo Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Delgado came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Xurxo Lagunas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Xurxo Lagunas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermegildo Delgado. Ermegildo Delgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas. But to his dismay, Xurxo Lagunas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Xurxo Lagunas in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 45 minutes, Joshua Secada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Asturcones d´la Abadía players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Venezuela were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filomeno Tormes made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Asturcones d´la Abadía got a freekick which was hit by Muzaffer Yürük. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurxo Lagunas in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Xurxo Lagunas made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 61stth minute of the game Xurxo Lagunas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xurxo Lagunas in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 63rd play minutes Xurxo Lagunas shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 66th match minute, Asturcones d´la Abadía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Arnalt to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xurxo Lagunas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Clemencin santillana in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asturcones d´la Abadía made a substitution. Montrel Olmedo replaced Angelo Esteban. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurxo Lagunas in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Xurxo Lagunas came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Montrel Olmedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Montrel Olmedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Asturcones d´la Abadía's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
