ZORZAL01's Gaudencio Richie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save ZORZAL01 from getting a goal against them. Gregorio Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. After having played for 29 minutes, Gregorio Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZORZAL01's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute of the game Julian Iratzeder made a throw-in which Luisito Medero played forward. After 33 minutes of play, ZORZAL01's Paolo Gotzon made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to ZORZAL01 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Paolo Gotzon hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Timoteo Dolcet got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Nardo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to ZORZAL01 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Leonel Unai hit a great ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Unai in the 58th minute of the match. Gaudencio Richie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute of play. ZORZAL01's Abelardo Vimaro was substituted for Benjamin Firmo. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Nardo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. If Paolo Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Dolcet didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZORZAL01's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
