Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. Claudinei Baianos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Lautaro Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Baiano in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Oséias Rezende threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natã da Cunha was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Tavares hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Oséias Rezende in the 64 minute of the game. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Claudinei Baiano sped through Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Edmundo Espiga in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Natã da Cunha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Baiano in the 76th minute of play.
