After having played for 9 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's Manuel Peralta in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Manuel Peralta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. If Geraldo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's Manuel Peralta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Peralta, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Márcio Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Pereira came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
