The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Falkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Jarosz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG's zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Jarosz came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes, Witomir Rostow mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Rostow. In the 83rd minute Jaime Cazalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Jarosz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Francisco Seco, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 84 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. In the 86th minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute Aleksander Tomporowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Ksawery Waselewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ksawery Waselewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG's Aleksander Tomporowski got a free kick in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Uruguay had won after a very even match.
