Elberg Azov might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elberg Azov ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elberg Azov in the 21st minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, The Heren Istarion's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Lukas Drewitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, in the 35th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The Heren Istarion's Lukas Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elberg Azov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 56th playminute. When Elberg Azov came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the The Heren Istarion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elberg Azov couldn't finish the play. The Heren Istarion made a substitution. Oliver Ahlquist replaced Big Brainovich. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elberg Azov in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elberg Azov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
