Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Ryan Peterson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. León FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. David Ospina had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 5th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela were furious when Rigoberto Mina was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, León FC's Angel Frutos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. 12 minutes into the game, Numbers Alex recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Numbers Alex showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A collision led to León FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Benicio Peruanton hit a great ball. Benicio Peruanton kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Hugo Frasco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. In the 24th minute, León FC's Numbers Alex ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Frasco in the 28th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Frasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Ospina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of León FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benicio Peruanton. 46 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Larra.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Frasco in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Witold Domeradzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Ospina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 56th minute of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. León FC's Gervasio Ted was substituted for Benicio Peruanton. León FC made a substitution. Filiberto Checa replaced Hugo Frasco. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Witold Domeradzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Larra in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Camilo Abella notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 79 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the León FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 88 minutes into the match, Filiberto Checa notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The León FC fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when León FC's Raimundo Larra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that León FC were the better team. León FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
