After some careless play in the Chile defense, Visen Allu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alan Tamayo hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Visen Allu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Visen Allu in the 56th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Piedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Piedra came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Altermundi FC made a substitution. Pío Ducoing replaced Sergiu Zgrăbunţa. They were angered to see Chile lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
