When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Murilo Ferreira to make any attempt to save it. 18 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Murilo Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Julian Murillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Murilo Ferreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julian Murillo in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Murilo Ferreira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murilo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murilo Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wang Wei Sha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Murilo Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Murilo Ferreira made a huge save. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Wei Sha in the 37th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ricardinho Nascimento in the 41 minute of the game. Luz Tejedor charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luz Tejedor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Peru's Luz Tejedor got a free kick in the 46th minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Ricardinho Nascimento's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardinho Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. Vito Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Buritama Sports's Nuno Fonseca was substituted for Gilvan de Lara. In the 57th minute, Vito Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murilo Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71stth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Efraim Gilabert hit a great ball. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Buritama Sports's Doriva Souto was substituted for Ricardo Dias. In the 84th minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Buritama Sports's Alexsandro Aguiar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Murilo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 88th minute of play. The Buritama Sports players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Peru from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
