Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mario Fernandino kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alejandro Villa hit a great ball. When Alfonso de la Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Alfonso de la Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. 8 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asparuh Bubov. Evstati Dokev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 11th minute of play. Radoslav Dzhangozov kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Alfredo Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petar Kralchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Alfonso de la Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Alfredo Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazar Stanoev hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asparuh Bubov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evstati Dokev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Tzocho Terziyanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tzvetan Stanchev hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Asparuh Bubov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Asparuh Bubov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Asparuh Bubov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mario Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Evstati Dokev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia.
