Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Tobias Brites's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Tobias Brites took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 7th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Telmo Teves. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Brites came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Brites succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 15th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 21st minute of play forced GD Fiães's goalkeeper Cassiano Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassiano Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cassiano Mendonça. GD Fiães's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cassiano Mendonça. Cassiano Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Telmo Teves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Telmo Teves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Telmo Teves made a kick off. A collision led to GD Fiães getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Álvaro Campelo hit a great ball. Cassiano Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montes in the 54th minute. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cassiano Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GD Fiães made a substitution. Higino Alcântara replaced Severiano Calado. After 81st play minutes Alex Ibáñez shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Cassiano Mendonça however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Brites in the 89th minute of play. Tobias Brites recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GD Fiães made a substitution. Delyan Temelyotev replaced Rubim Falcão. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Ibáñez in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The GD Fiães support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
