The FC Szczucin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Swoboda should have stopped the shot. After 38 played minutes FC Szczucin got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Sayveon. After a long run with the ball, Daniel Zorita did a trick in the 40th minute in front of FC Szczucin's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-2. An impressive performance by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita! After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Edgar Zima hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Emanuel Barbu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Antonio Arias's late challenge caught a FC Szczucin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Arias helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Edmund Walentowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iwan Swoboda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes FC Szczucin got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Mroczynski. After 68 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iwan Swoboda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agustín Saelices. In the 72nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Iwan Swoboda. 1-4. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Antonio Arias heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Barbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Luis Andino succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Barbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
