Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vacid Nefer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgut Talha having to interfere. Turgut Talha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petrică Bărbulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turgut Talha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of the match. Vacid Nefer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Turgut Talha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 36th minute. Vacid Nefer might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vacid Nefer ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Abar in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vacid Nefer made a kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vacid Nefer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Abar to maneuver through the defense. Vacid Nefer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vacid Nefer in the 58th minute of play. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Español's Vacid Nefer. But to his dismay, Vacid Nefer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Vacid Nefer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute Vacid Nefer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vacid Nefer in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Club Deportivo Español were awarded a corner. Anthony Bonelli went to the cornerflag to take it. Vacid Nefer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes, Club Deportivo Español's Anthony Bonelli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Deportivo Español reached it. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Turgut Talha to make any attempt to save it. Ecuador's Luis Andino pulled a muscle in his leg after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 87 minutes, Anthony Bonelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Español and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ecuador made a substitution. Diego Mancebo replaced Luis Andino. Anthony Bonelli hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jose Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vacid Nefer took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Deportivo Español.
