An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 6th minute of play forced Scofield's goalkeeper Alvaro Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Feliciano Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, USA's Monty Rogers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Valente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 33 minutes on the clock, Roberto-Carlos Brasil commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Scofield fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Edward Mcdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Alvaro Valente made a huge save. Alvaro Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 39th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Alvaro Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zach Harrison in the 41st minute of play forced Scofield's goalkeeper Alvaro Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th play minute Monty Rogers came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alvaro Valente. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Cassius Byrne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvaro Valente. That made the score 4-1 in the 46 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valerius Ginsberg was the one to do the kick off. Valerius Ginsberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Day firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Valente saved Scofield from getting behind. Alvaro Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Alvaro Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 61st minute of play. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Diego Bradley made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Scofield's Alvaro Valente managed to reach the ball for a save.
