Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barış Omay in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Hayyam Saygılı fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASLANAS's protests and gave Hayyam Saygılı a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes ASLANAS got a freekick which was hit by Hayyam Saygılı. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerimhan Bürge having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 31st minute of play forced ASLANAS's goalkeeper Kerimhan Bürge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barış Omay charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barış Omay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barış Omay kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerimhan Bürge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, ASLANAS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Kerimhan Bürge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Nazım Gökyüzü kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kerimhan Bürge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Alex Cambeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the ASLANAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Aykut İslam hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerimhan Bürge having to interfere. Kerimhan Bürge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kerimhan Bürge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Şentürk Yiğiter was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kerimhan Bürge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerimhan Bürge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
