The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Cătălin Ostoici, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grigoris Katsafanas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pepijn Hummel in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Cătălin Ostoici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play forced BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Cătălin Ostoici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepijn Hummel in the 25th minute of play. The throw-in from Luisinho Trevisan in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Ayi Kusumah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Ayi Kusumah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Grigoris Katsafanas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Cătălin Ostoici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Ostoici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BuanaRaya's Suki Sapulette got a free kick in the 50th minute. 52 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Cătălin Ostoici had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Cătălin Ostoici made a huge save. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Katsafanas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepijn Hummel in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Cătălin Ostoici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ayi Kusumah came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, BuanaRaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Katsafanas to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. After 86 played minutes BuanaRaya got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Katsafanas. After a rather tough play, Peru's Eliseo Mina got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
