Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arjen de Boer started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan de Boer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arjen de Boer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arjen de Boer in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjen de Boer in the 11th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan de Boer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Folker Diggele came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henk van Zwieten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thiago Pliego firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Henk van Zwieten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Pool, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 31st minute of the match Chile got a corner. Sons of Strategy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan de Boer. Jan de Boer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th minute of the match, Arjen de Boer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute of the match Wilco Heida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Chile's Orlando Casaus got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Jan de Boer. Sons of Strategy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 56th minute, Arjen de Boer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sons of Strategy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 59 minutes into the match, Arjen de Boer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arjen de Boer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 63 minutes into the game, one of Sons of Strategy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jan de Boer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 68th minute of play. Sons of Strategy's Jan de Boer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Sons of Strategy from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Sons of Strategy getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Wilco Heida hit a great ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sons of Strategy's goalkeeper Jan de Boer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 79 minutes of play, Sons of Strategy's Arjen de Boer made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan de Boer having to interfere. Guillermo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Sons of Strategy's goalkeeper Jan de Boer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Casaus. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arjen de Boer, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Jan de Boer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Guillermo Fontirroig. Arnold Pool recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Ferry Klein threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Francisco Carballar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
