Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Dino Cara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuele Boccanera got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Coriano FC's Christian Vieri. But to his dismay, Christian Vieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Cara having to interfere. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Dino Cara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Cara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Cara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Coriano FC defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Cara. The Coriano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Cara should have stopped the shot. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Cara having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Vieri to strike the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coriano FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Jose Correa scored to the left of an out of position Dino Cara, making the score, 1-2. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Cara having to interfere. Coriano FC's Camillo De Francesco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 63 minute of the game. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Dino Cara made a huge save. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Joshua Secada in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Coriano FC's Camillo De Francesco. In the 77th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. When the match was over Venezuela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Coriano FC throughout the match.
