Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Loukianos Livas kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcino Jesus in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Loukianos Livas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmiro Leite in the 13th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Palmiro Leite capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Palmiro Leite really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Loukianos Livas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. Loukianos Livas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palmiro Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Loukianos Livas made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 38 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Falcão. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Boaventura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Palmiro Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. André Carmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Loukianos Livas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68thth minute of the game Palmiro Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. André Carmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. André Carmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 75 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Ponte do Carro made a substitution. Tiago Cortez replaced Alcino Jesus. With a little luck, Ponte do Carro's André Carmo got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Carmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukianos Livas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Francisco Queirós hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukianos Livas in the 96th minute of play. Ponte do Carro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
